Crown was established in 1946 when Len Head retired from the Royal Air Force and began manufacturing nursery furniture. In 1959 it became the first factory in Kent with 12 employees. In 1987 Crown began their factory expansion to cornerstone the company’s expansion over the next 20 years.
In 2007 Crown’s portfolio spread to over 50 kitchen styles and 15 bedroom designs.
